Southern Pochard
The Ferruginous Duck has White eyes and darker beak.
The Southern Pochard has Red eyes and lighter beak.
The Breast & Body

Southern Pochard
The Ferruginous Duck has a Chestnut Brown Breast.
The Southern Pochard has a Black with with Purple iridescence Breast.
The Legs & Feet

The legs and feet of both ducks are similar.
